Founded in New York City in 1999, Mark Davis creates distinctive luxury jewelry and objets of exceptional character. Every piece begins with an original point of view and is brought to life through exacting design, rare materials, and the skilled hands of American artisans.
We make in limited numbers for collectors who value originality, substance, and the pleasure of owning something made with uncommon care. From the first sketch to the final finish, each Mark Davis creation is considered in detail and made to be admired up close.
In 2019, the company made its home in Beaufort, South Carolina. Set in the Carolina Lowcountry, Beaufort is a place of natural beauty, quiet character, and a pace that leaves room for close observation—qualities that continue to inform the world of Mark Davis.
AN AMERICAN BRAND, MADE IN AMERICA
Mark Davis designs, assembles, and manufactures its jewelry in Beaufort, South Carolina. While certain exceptional materials necessarily originate elsewhere in the world, the work of transforming them into a Mark Davis creation happens here, in the United States.
Keeping our craft close allows us to work directly with the people and processes behind every piece. It is how we protect the quality, precision, and individuality that define the brand.
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility is inseparable from the way we create. We do not use gemstones originating from groups or countries that engage in or support illegal, inhumane, or terrorist activities. We also do not use coral, ivory, or other materials derived from flora or fauna listed as endangered or threatened in CITES Appendices I, II, or III.
This policy extends to antique and vintage coral and ivory, including mastodon and woolly mammoth ivory. We believe that using these materials sustains demand and does not help protect vulnerable species or discourage exploitation from new sources.
Our environmental responsibility reaches beyond material choices. It also includes conservation, preservation, meaningful employment, and philanthropy that strengthens the communities and causes we care about. Learn more in our Sustainability section.

We believe a responsible company should contribute beyond the work it makes. Each year, Mark Davis supports charitable organizations through jewelry donations for fundraising events and through financial contributions.
