Valentina Bangle

Richly marbled burnt-orange bakelite gives the Valentina bangle warmth and depth. Each inlaid station is cut from a single burgundy-and-beige striped composition: the central cartouche and surrounding frame come from the same piece, allowing the banded pattern to resume across the narrow interval of orange bakelite between them. Citrine, Mozambique garnet, and smoky quartz, set in 18-karat yellow gold, alternate in a regular sequence around the circumference. Generous in proportion yet exacting in detail, the piece has presence without excess.
