Cecelia Bangle

This bangle has been crafted from two individual bangles that have been sliced in half lengthwise and reassembled to create a very subtle two-tone effect. Hexagonal pieces of bakelite have been inlaid along the seam of where the two bangles have been "stitched" together. A brilliant yellow sapphire, bezel-set in 18-karat yellow gold, marks the center of each hexagon. The interior of the bangle is fitted with a black liner that reduces the inner diameter slightly. The liner can be removed if necessary. A special and deceptively simple-looking bangle from the Mark Davis Collector Line.
