Carolina Necklace

Completely made by hand, this 18-karat yellow gold cable chain necklace is a timeless investment piece. Made from 1.50 mm diameter solid wire, every link has been formed and joined by hand. The spacing between the links is minimal, resulting in a substantial chain that will be enjoyed for generations. The beautiful toggle clasp is made from an 18-karat frame that has been precisely fitted with a crescent-shaped piece of burgundy, vintage bakelite. Five graduated diamonds have been mounted in bezels on the clasp. The clasp is almost too pretty to hide at the back. Please note that any color bakelite can be specified for the clasp and the chain may be special ordered in any length. If you plan on wearing this chain with a pendant, please be aware that the toggle will fit through a 5.50 mm bail or larger. Multiple necklaces can be joined together to create a sautoir or wrapped multiple times to fashion a substantial choker.
