This bangle has been created from vintage tortoiseshell-colored bakelite. Assorted colors of vintage bakelite have been precisely cut into soft square outlines and inlaid into the bangle. The center of each square features one of many assorted colored gemstones, all of which are individually bezel-set in 18k yellow gold. Note the slightly rounded sides of each frame. The technical skill and precision required to execute inlay like this is a hallmark of Mark Davis pieces.
